Cuore by Ferragamo is a Feminine Watch With a Heart That Beats on the Dial

Unveiled late last year but continuing to make a splash in women’ watches, the Ferragamo Cuore watch collection embraces the idea of love, and even has a beating heart on its dial to prove it.  Each watch features an off-set subdial where the hours and minutes are read, and a heart motif — that moves.   The two halves of the heart separate and rejoin as though beating, once every second when the wearer activates the function by pressing onto crown.  The concept is patented and the design is exclusive in watches for Salvatore Ferragamo. The Cuore by Ferragamo watch is created in steel or in plated gold with a host of different colored calfskin straps, which are all interchangeable. Chopard and Rihanna Team Up For ‘Rihanna Loves Chopard’ Jewelry Collection

Chopard and Rihanna Team Up For ‘Rihanna Loves Chopard’ Jewelry Collection

A new co-designed jewelry line is coming our way this summer by Chopard and famed singer Rihanna.  The luxury watch and jewelry company Chopard is no stranger to dressing celebrities and does so on red carpets around the globe. This new relationship with Rihanna, though, is designed to offer a more modern high-jewelry collection that reflects the spirited style of the international singer and style icon. Called Rihanna Loves Chopard, the jewelry pieces are knockouts. Originally from Barbados, Rihanna worked side by side with  Co-President of Chopard, Caroline Scheufele, to create the collection, which embraces vibrant colors reminiscent of the island, as well as florals. Additionally, Rihanna worked with the brand’s existing Ice Cube collection — working a new play on geometrics. The capsule collection brings a modern edgy feel to the forefront with ceramic and also stirs at the heartstrings of ethics thanks to the fact that the pieces are made using Fairmined gold.  “I have always been in love with Chopard’s exquisite jewelry, so to actually design collections with them is something I still can’t believe,” says Rihanna. “It was a really incredible process and I learned so much! I can’t wait for everyone to see it.” The collection makes its official debut in May (in time to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festiva, which Chopard has officially partnered with for 20 years). However, those interested in pre-ordering pieces can do so in Chopard boutiques or on-line at a special Chopard dedicated Rihanna loves Chopard site: www.chopard.com/us/rihanna-loves-chopard.  ...
