Chanel — whose J12 watch sparked an evolution for the fashion brand into fine luxury watches with top-quality movements — marks the debut of the J12 G-10. For the brand, this means that the famed ceramic watch — heretofore available only on a bracelet — is now available on a strap. They refer to it as the J12’s NATO strap – however it not a fabric strap, but, rather, Mississippienis alligator. After all, luxury for women can’t amp down that much.
The J12 G10 watches are available with varying degrees of diamonds on the bezel, case and dial. The high-tech ceramic cases are offered in white and in black. Versions retail starting at $19,500 for models with brilliant-cut diamonds on them, and range to $70,000 for the mega diamond versions that feature baguette-cut diamonds.
