Unveiled late last year but continuing to make a splash in women’ watches, the Ferragamo Cuore watch collection embraces the idea of love, and even has a beating heart on its dial to prove it. Each watch features an off-set subdial where the hours and minutes are read, and a heart motif — that moves.
The two halves of the heart separate and rejoin as though beating, once every second when the wearer activates the function by pressing onto crown. The concept is patented and the design is exclusive in watches for Salvatore Ferragamo. The Cuore by Ferragamo watch is created in steel or in plated gold with a host of different colored calfskin straps, which are all interchangeable. It retails for $2,595 on strap and for $2995 on steel bracelet.
