DuBois et fils Chronograph Big Date
Recently we had the privilege of meeting with the new DuBois et fils watch brand – a company with roots dating back to 1785. The brand has recently been revived — thanks to successful crowdfunding – and is launching timepieces for men and women. The women’s watches are Swiss made, limited-edition pieces in five styles, including the one we like best: Chronograph Big Date with a diamond bezel.
The stainless steel Chronograph Big Date features a guilloche mother-of-pearl dial and is powered by an ETA automatic movement further enhanced with a Dubois-De’praz 4500 big date module. The 41.5mm watch features a sapphire crystal and caseback for viewing the movement. Functionality was not spared for beauty. This watch offers indexes and numerals with SuperLuminova for easy reading in the dark. It is water resistant to 5 ATM. It retails for $17,990.
