Ok women, how many of you have had a long-standing love affair with the moon,the stars and romance? We know that these night skies govern our passions from time to time – and now Harry Winston also recognizes the beguiling power of the moon and its phases with a new collection unveiled here at Baselworld 2016.
Sometimes the indication (usually in an arc format) is at 12:00 on the dial, other times it is at 6:00. Harry Winston, however, totally confounds us and captures our hearts with the all-new Premier Moon Phase 36mm watch. Additionally, the watch offers a nice surprise: the moonphase does not disappear off the arc, but rather rotates behind a geometrical mother-of-pearl lattice work so that it Is slightly hidden by never out of sight. The deep blue sky is made of rich blue mother o pearl, which is ever so expressive against the white mother of pearl outer dial.
The elegant 36mm case is crafted in 18-karat gold and bedecked with diamonds on the bezels and signature Winston lugs. In total, the watch bezel is set with 2.32 carats of (57) brilliant-cut diamonds. There are also brilliant-cut diamonds as hour markers. Powered by the HW5201 quartz movement, the watch offers hours, minutes, moonphase and date indication at 6:00. The watch is offered with either a white or gray alligator strap for alluring finish.
